If you're looking for a place to relax that is adults only, then Sandals Royal Curacao is your place.

It had been 7 years since Marcus and I took a solo vacation without the kids in tow. And relaxation was just what we needed. This was our first Sandals experience and we enjoyed sleeping in and ordering room service for breakfast, lounging by the pool and the beach.

We enjoyed eating dinner at Vincent's, Zuka, Strand, Aolos, and Gatsu Gatsu. Breakfast at Pietra was buffet style and gave us plenty of options daily.

Marcus and I stayed in a Carisia Luxury room and had an amazing view of the pool, garden and beach of in the distance. We mainly stayed at the resort, with one day of shopping in Willemstad.

Pros

  1. Quiet resort

  2. Entertainment ends by 12am

  3. Plenty of dining options (8 restaurants and 3 food trucks)

  4. 13 Bars

  5. Water activities included

  6. Very Clean

  7. Friendly Staff

Cons

  1. an hour away from Willemstad

  2. If you're looking for lively entertainment, then this resort is not for you.

  3. Wait time for the food at restaurants was long.

  4. Drinks were watered down

Overall it was a great experience and Curacao is a beautiful island with perfect weather!
